On my original race report I left out a comical moment from the run.
As I was barrelling like a runaway elephant down the shute towards the finish everyone was yelling encouragement and since our names were on our bibs I heard a lot.
"Come on Ashley you are almost there"
"Good job Ashley"
"Looking good Ashley"
and finally
"Ashley is a girls name"
Classic.

Hey- thanks for the continuing encouragement! Ha ha. Had to laugh at your latest entry. Sometimes stuff like that makes you run harder, or gets you disqualified for jumping off course and giving someone the beat down!
